History of the Sumo Stylers

According to Bumble and Bumble, the inspiration came from one of their directors watching a sumo match in Tokyo. The slick-backed hairstyles dating back to ancient Japan were intriguing and upon more research, he found out that the product they were using was quite greasy, didn't smell the greatest, and didn't offer any benefits for the hair. Enthralled by the sport of sumo, the director wanted to create something great for these athletes as well as people around the world; Two years later, the sumo family was born!

Sumogel works on all types of hair and textures. It's a translucent, solid gel that leaves a natural, clean shine, as well as a strong hold. It works great when paired with the Bb Primer. Use on damp hair, and either comb it through, or distribute a small amount with your fingers.

This is the product to pick if you're looking for shine!
